The Barn is a cosy, detached property set in a rural location on the edge of a village. It is conveniently located for exploring Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Cotswolds, Ragley Hall. It is surrounded by farmland with access to many beautiful footpaths. The Barn comprises of a kitchen and lounge/diner downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a shower room upstairs. There is private parking for 2 cars. Outside there is a patio area next to The Barn and a secluded patio at the bottom a large mature garden. This detached converted barn is full of character and set in the grounds of a Victorian farm labourer's tithe cottage. It offers versatile accommodation for couples, families or people on business, being conveniently located for Birmingham and the NEC. There is a large mature garden where guests can unwind and on clear nights, we recommend star and satellite gazing due to the large expanse of sky an very little light pollution. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do. Guests have access to the whole house and garden. There is parking for 2 vehicles and a private access to The Barn. David and Victoria are always available for advice or general friendly chit chat. However, we are happy to be inconspicuous and we respect guests' privacy. We are always happy to help. This is a quiet lane on the edge of a village. There are some wonderful walks on the doorstep. It is a tranquil spot with mainly the sound of buzzards, the munching of sheep and cattle, horses clopping by and (at night) owls. In the summer evenings there are plenty of pipistrelle bats fluttering around catching insects. The nearest pub is 1 mile away and serves excellent food every day. The neighbouring village of Inkberrow lays claim to the Bulls Head pub, infamous for its association with the Radio 4 series 'The Archers'. A great, dog friendly pub where many locals spend a relaxing time discussing village and farming life. The nearest town is Alcester, a 10 minute drive away. Redditch is a 15 minute drive, here you can catch a train directly into Birmingham city centre. The NEC is a 40 minute drive and Stratford upon Avon is 15 minutes. There is an unfenced stream/ditch that runs the length of the garden. Also, for taller guests, a low beam in the double bedroom.
