You will find Mulberry Lodge set in the beautiful, tranquil garden of our family home in the idyllic rural village of Stratton Audley. The Lodge has its own private entrance, and offers a sumptuous and relaxed environment for you to unwind in the country. Your host will be on hand, or at least at the end of a phone if required and will provide a light continental breakfast comprising delicious pastries, for you to warm in the oven if desired and jam. You will find fresh milk in the fridge. The Lodge is open plan with a small kitchen featuring an electric oven, hob and microwave. A kettle for tea and coffee and even a Nespresso coffee machine for guests who enjoy a proper cup of coffee! There’s a comfortable lounge area with TV and sofa and in the separate bedroom a super king size bed that can be split into two singles if required, with cotton sheets and anti allergen duvet and pillows. Your host will be close at hand either in the Farmhouse or at the end of the phone in the local vicinity. Despite being such a peaceful, rural location, Mulberry Lodge is a mere stone's throw away from Bicester Heritage and the famous Silverstone Circuit for those petrol-heads amongst us. Bicester Village the fabulous Designer Outlet is a 10 minute drive away for guests seeking designer bargains and the dreaming spires of Oxford are just 15 miles away if you’re looking for a spot of culture. Several National Trust properties are within the vicinity and London can be reached in under 45 minutes from either Bicester North or Bicester Village stations arriving at Marylebone Station. The village itself boasts The Stratton Audley Barn - a wonderful coffee and gift shop offering breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea (closed Monday) plus the most delicious homemade ice creams during the summer months. There is also the recently refurbished Red Lion thatched roof pub in the village serving excellent food and local ales. The Lodge is best-suited for guests with a car, as public transport is currently somewhat lacking.
