One of 3 luxury lodges nestled within the Cherry Orchard. The lodge sleeps 4 people with lovely views, its own private hot-tub, large decking area, outside seating & sun loungers. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need, including coffee machine, smart TV ,large fridge freezer with water & ice dispenser, barbeque , pizza oven and outdoor fire pit .About a 20 min walk into Hadleigh, which has a selection of pubs and restaurants. The 2 bed lodge sleeps four people. 2 bedrooms both identical with King-size bed (one of the beds can be converted into two singles if preferred) large wardrobe, both en-suite with walk in shower, double sink and built in Bluetooth speakers. There is an open plan kitchen/Living area, the kitchen has an electric range cooker, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine . There is a small dining table that seats 4, two small 2 seater sofas and coffee table in the lounge. The patio doors lead out onto the extensive decking with 2 sun loungers, large outside table and chairs and of course your own hot tub.. The lodge is well equipped with everything you might need, including coffee machine, and smart TV. There is a Tumble dryer in the attached shed. Includes towels and bed linen. A Charcoal barbeque is provided outside your lodge for your sole use. Please note there are three lodges on site and although we welcome friends and family to catch up we want to ensure all our guests enjoy a tranquil relaxing stay . As such the property is not suitable for any party groups. There are 3 lodges on site. Each lodge is about 15M apart, each with open outlooks . You have sole use of the lodge a private hot tub and private barbeque area. A shared play area is available for children, along with a Boule run. Each lodge has its own private car parking area suitable for 2 cars. There are so many options for day or afternoon trips. Long Melford and Lavenham are definitely worth a visit. Dedham Vale and Flatford Mill immortalised by John Constable offers a beautiful day out. Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings with its internationally renowned concert hall can be combined into one day trip. - Framingham and Woodbridge both historic market towns also make for a nice day out. As does Bury St Edmunds and Norwich. If you have time a visit to the Suffolk coast is well worth it, with both Felixstowe, Aldeburgh and Southold offering lots of traditional beach side fun and of course some great fish and chips Some popular Day Trips are listed below * Hadleigh, Lavenham, Long Melford, Woodbridge, Suffolk coast, Dedham Vale, Flatford Mill, Snape Maltings – the internationally renowned Snape Maltings and concert hall, Framingham Castle, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester and Alton Water EATING Top End The Marquis Upper Street, Layham, With spectacular views across the valley, a bold open kitchen and a seasonal British menu inspired by local ingredients. The afternoon tea is fabulous. Have a pre-dinner drink at the quaint upstairs bar. The Swan Lavenham : High Street Lavenham The Swan offers exquisite British dining all set within superb medieval surroundings there is also the Gallery for less formal dining, breakfast, afternoon tea and lunches. The Great House Lavenham : Housed in a simply stunning 14th century building. High end restaurant. (Taxi from the lodge takes about 20 mins and will be around £20 Gastro Pubs The Bildeston Crown : 15th century, former coaching inn with ever changing seasonal menus. . The Crown: Stoke By Nayland Park Street The Boathouse Dedham: Riverside restaurant. Bell Inn Kersey Home cooked food in a traditional local Suffolk pub The Lindsay Rose Lindsey Tye Loved by locals a True Suffolk Country Pub. If travelling by train the nearest station is Manningtree (about a 20 minute drive to the lodge £20 taxi - riverside Taxis in manningtree) . You can walk into Hadleigh - about 20 minutes, although to best explore all suffolk has to offer we do recommend a car. The nearest supermarket (Morrisons ) is a five minute drive or 25 minute walk. Dogs : There are two resident dogs on site. Both are very friendly and have been brought up around children and other dogs. If you have any concerns re dogs being around please let us know so we can ensure they are kept away. Wifi : Wifi is available in every lodge, although given our countryside location , this is not suitable for heavy use. Mobile reception is good and 4G is generally available. Heating : heating is provided by electric heaters in every room and towel radiators in the bathrooms. Road Access . Access to the lodges is via a tarmac farm road. Group Bookings If you are looking to book all three lodges for a larger gathering, we are happy to assist with any arrangements Grocery shopping. Please feel free to pre-order basic groceries prior to your arrival and we will happily take delivery , unpack them and leave in your lodge for your arrival . Please contact us directly to discuss Towels, Dressing gown Slippers and welcome toiletries are left for each guest. Cot and high Chair available We have 8 resident chickens on site. We leave some eggs in your lodge, but you are welcome to help yourself to fresh eggs throughout your stay.
