Bucks Green Place Shepherds Hut

This shepherds hut, sleeps two, built by local craftsman and located in seven acres of stunning English countryside in the grounds of a beautiful Georgian House with parking. This clever set-up boasts a dining table and bench seating that converts into a luxurious double bed with bedding, duvet, mattress topper and all towels and linen provided for you. The well equipped kitchen facility includes a toaster, kettle, gas hob, microwave , fridge,cooking utensils, fridge, crockery and cutlery. The electric wood burner ensures this is the perfect cosy getaway whatever the weather with a BBQ and outdoor seating area for those warmer days. There is a shower room with heated towel rail and hot running water and a compost toilet to respect the natural environment. A continental breakfast hamper will be provided on your arrival. This idyllic setting is close to both the Surrey Hills and the South Downs with a wealth of walking and cycling opportunities on its doorstep. Our resident alpacas, goats, miniature Shetland ponies , goats and chickens provide some friendly faces whilst you enjoy the peace and quiet Guests will have access to 7 acres open pasture, leading onto public footpaths. Access to our private swimming pool in the summer months can be arranged upon request We will meet you upon arrival and will be available throughout your stay. A daily continental breakfast hamper will be provided including fresh bread, preserves, fresh eggs with Courtesy tea and coffee. Access available to the next-door recreation area. Within walking distance of the house are four local pubs (varying distances) and a village shop, famous café / cheese shop, post office and pharmacy and plenty of lovely long walks and cycle routes to explore the Sussex/Surrey countryside directly from the house. The market town of Horsham is 15 minutes drive away and is also serviced by a regular bus route. Here you will be spoilt for choice for eating and drinking spots with many chain and independent restaurants and a wealth of shopping opportunities.
