Luxury Cottage in the New Forest

Poona Cottage is a delightful country Cottage finished to a very high standard, located on the edge of the New Forest National Park. Poona Cottage is a luxury self catering Cottage, perfect for your New Forest holiday. The Cottage is a delight to visit all year round, and ideally located close to local attractions and within easy reach of surrounding towns and villages. Enjoy a trip to the nearby Paultons Park, a Forest walk, or visit the nearby beach, the possibilities are endless. Poona Cottage dates back to the 1700’s and was lovingly restored in a two year restoration project, completed in 2011. It has plenty of parking, a well-maintained garden, and a patio BBQ area adjacent to the Kitchen. The Cottage is made up of an adequately stocked Kitchen/Diner, a lounge with a Wood burner, as well as a smaller lounge/snug. It contains a large family bathroom, and two additional en-suite Bathrooms. As well as, two bedrooms containing King-sized beds, and one bedroom containing two Single beds. You’ll enjoy our wonderful period Cottage, and find everything you’ll need to make the most of your stay. We are available by telephone, text or email, and happy to answer any of your queries. We love to get to know our guests too, so we would love you to say hello. Our family have lived in the area for generations so we are on hand to offer you tips and advice. Poona Cottage is ideally located on the edge of the New Forest National Park. You can enjoy a family day out at the nearby Paultons Park (10 minutes drive), discover the garden wonderland that is Exbury Gardens, enjoy the New Forest on your doorstep, visit Lyndhurst, Beaulieu Motor Museum and House, the ancient stone circle at Stonehenge, and much much more. Within easy reach are the Cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, as well as Southampton City Centre, and several beaches along the coast. Our lovely Village has many amenities too, including two pubs within 5 minutes walking distance, and a nearby convenience store. Please be aware that Public Transport is minimal due to our location, but parking is plentiful. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes on the doorstep too.
