Twin/triple room in quiet village near Gatwick

Comfortable and spacious Victorian home in a quiet country village with views over green fields. Only 15 minutes from Gatwick, and within a few minutes walk of two village pubs, serving excellent food. Excellent wi-fi and plenty of off-street parking. This listing is for one room; if you need two or three rooms then please contact us or see our other listings. Check is from 6pm, earlier by prior arrangement. We have two cats. There are many beautiful places to visit nearby Our spacious Victorian house has a peaceful garden and is situated in the quiet village of Outwood. The twin/triple room is on the first floor; the adjacent shared bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, washbasin and wc. Dining room, kitchen, bathrooms, and use of garden. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor pool when available during summer months. You are welcome to use space in the fridge and freezer, and make use of the kitchen when available, for cooking meals or hot drinks. Our standard check-in time is 6:00pm but if you need an earlier check-in or wish to be a 'day guest' then please contact us. We can give advice on places to visit in the area, and local walks and cycle rides. Our house is in the small village of Outwood, home to the oldest working Windmill in Britain. There are two traditional English country pubs within a few minutes walk, and easy access to a range of footpaths through woods and open countryside. Details of circular walks or cycle rides can be provided. Gatwick is 15 minutes away by car and lifts can be arranged, subject to availability. Local taxi firms can also provide services. There are many historic houses and beautiful gardens to visit nearby including Chartwell and Hever Castle. Lingfield Racecourse is only 15 minutes drive away, and Brighton can be easily reached by train or car. We are a 10 minutes drive from a train station from where it takes 45 minutes to reach London (Victoria or London Bridge). Public transport to and from the village is limited, but we can arrange a lift subject to availability. There is ample parking on our large driveway; you can leave your car with us while you are away for a small fee, and subject to availability. There is little public transport to or from the village of Outwood itself. We have two cats but they do not usually go in the bedrooms
