18th Century Normandy Manoir

The property is a fine 18th century ‘manoir’ including farm buildings around a courtyard, set in five acres of grounds close to the River Orne, with a lake stocked with fish, a large garden and an orchard. There is accommodation for a mixture of six to twelve adults and children, or more. In the grounds around the house there is plenty of room for tents or camper-vans. Guests have the use of the whole house and gardens, there is a lake where you can fish and a moat, so young children must be supervised. The out buildings have not been renovated so we will not be responsible for damage or injury should you wish to look around them. The next village to us is Écouché which has some very nice shops. Falaise is about 20 min drive and has a large market on a Saturday, also is the birthplace of William the Conquerer and has a lovely castle to visit. We are one hour from the Normandy beaches, and two hours from Paris. Parking is generally free around us, but if you visit Caen you will probably have to pay
