Tucked away in the heart of this peaceful village that dates back to the Domesday Survey, 'Greenways' is an 18th century grade 2 listed annexe with original features. It offers a private entrance, off-road parking, a double and twin bedroom and a shower room. Tea / coffee making facilities, a mini fridge and toaster are provided - provisions for a continental breakfast are included. Perfectly situated to enjoy scenic country walks and a short drive to Faversham, Canterbury and Whitstable Greenways was originally a separate dwelling but now forms a self-contained annexe to 1 Luton Cottages, that dates back to 1652. The private entrance leads directly into a good-sized double bedroom, leading into a hallway with a small shower room and a further smaller bedroom with a trundle bed, which can be converted to 2 singles (close together). Outside is a private seating area that catches the afternoon sun - guests are also welcome to enjoy the rear patio area, on request. Selling Station is less than 20 minutes walk from the property, or a 4 minute drive. Trains run regularly to Faversham and Canterbury. There is parking for 2 cars outside the property and plentiful free parking on the road. I live in the adjoining property and generally will be around to answer any questions, or can be contacted at any time on my mobile. Provisions for a continental breakfast will be delivered for you to enjoy at your leisure. Selling is surrounded by glorious countryside and there are numerous public footpaths nearby. We are just minutes from Perry Wood – a very special ancient woodland designated as a Local Wildlife Site and used mostly for wildlife conservation and quiet recreation. The panoramic views are stunning and give a unique perspective on the landscape of this part of the Kent Downs AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The popular village pub is a short stroll away and offers my guests a 10% discount on any meal, (takeaways also available). The Sondes Tea House and General Stores offers a variety of teas and coffees and light lunches, including vegan and gluten-free options. Selling is an ideal base for visiting the charming market town of Faversham (10 minutes), the vibrant seaside town of Whitstable and historic Canterbury, (both less than 20 minutes drive). Chilham, one of the prettiest villages in Kent, with its medieval square and castle, is nearby. Selling Station provides direct train services to Faversham, Canterbury and Dover and London can be reached from Faversham or Chilham stations in just over an hour. Complimentary provisions for a continental breakfast are provided. Alternatively, the local pub offer a full English breakfast to my guests for £10 per head (bookable in advance) Early check-in and late check-out requests will be accommodated where possible
