Fairway View

Fairway View is a stunning lodge with an amazing WOW factor as soon as you step inside. You will notice the high ceilings and gorgeous crystal chandelier lights before walking out on to a huge decked balcony with uninterrupted views across the golf course. With a generous corner plot there is heaps of outside space and we think that this is arguably one of the best locations on the park. With 180 acres of parkland Percy Wood Golf and Country Park is home to lots of wildlife including Roe Deer and the elusive red squirrels. The lodge is close to woodland walks and with views of a large pond we have lots of visitors including ducklings, moorhens, heron and wild birds. Fairway View is perfect place for total peace and tranquillity It’s also dog friendly. The open plan living area has a well equipped kitchen including an island with seating. There is a fireplace eight electric flame effect fire and large flat screen tv. A corner sofa bed and occasional chair provides seating for up to 6. There is WiFi in the lodge with unlimited data and a smart tv to connect to all the usual TV apps. A full size dining table can seat up to six. There are ample units in the fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, including washing machine and dishwasher, undercounter fridge freezer, double oven, gas hob and microwave. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, ample storage with fitted wardrobe and drawers. There is an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom can be a king size bed or twin beds, (please request at time of booking) and has fitted wardrobe and drawers. Off the hall is a family bathroom with over bath shower. French doors from the lounge lead out to a huge wrap around balcony with stunning views from your Hot tub and comfortable modern outdoor furniture to sit back and relax and listed to the birds and watch for the wildlife in the park. Whether you want peace and quiet or active days out there is something for everyone here. For walkers or mountain bikers easy access to the wild rolling Cheviot Hills Fairway View the perfect choice With little or no light pollution imagine relaxing after a day out exploring and enjoying the beautiful dark skies that Northumberland is so renowned for. Located in Swarland it is within easy reach of the A1 and only 8 miles south of the beautiful market town of Alnwick where you can visit just one of the many ancient castles and the home of Harry Potter at Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Stretching up to the Scottish Border and beyond you enjoy the miles and miles of Northumberland’s beautiful beaches, and perfect dark skies. You have the whole property to yourselves for the duration of your stay. The owner and a housekeeper on hand should you need anything. There will also be somebody at the property daily to check and maintain your hot tub. Percy Woods Country Park, is truly stunning. The lodges are situated around a beautiful golf course, there are woodland walks, loads of wildlife (including deer) and it's just a short walk to the nearest village Swarland. Beautiful country park, offering gorgeous woodland walks, bike trails and mountain biking. Alnwick Castle is just a short drive. Take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals or take a drive across the course-way to Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle. You are not far from the coast with the nearest beach being about 20 mins drive and you have the market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick on your doorstep. There are quaint Northumbrian villages throughout the area and some amazing historical sights such as Alnwick, Warkworth, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh castles, old forts, the Roman Wall and much more to explore. You are close to the Northumbrian coast which offers miles and miles of dog friendly beaches, with ancient monuments and fabulous Northumbrian villages with bars and restaurants. The site has no shop so you need to come prepared as the closest shops are In Felton then Alnwick. The closest bar is in Swarland village which is within walking distance. However the site has a weekly bar & mobile eaterie on a Friday Saturday Sunday
