Large Rustic Log Home on working cattle ranch in the mountains with privacy, beautiful sunsets, views, and city lights. It's a great place for family reunions, spending holidays here or a pecaceful getaway from fast moving city life! We have 2 ponds to fish in, Only 30 minutes from the entrance to Kings Canyon National Park, 93633 in Fresno County. We have boarding for your horses ,you can ride in the park and trailer parking. You can bbq and have a seasonal fire in the firepit w/wood provided Pet fee is $100 up to 2 pets maximum, pet messes must be cleaned up outside ,no pet hair on the couch or pets on the furniture as per house rules and must be housebroken, no puppies allowed and all damages must be paid for by guest . I’m Sorry it has to be this way as other guests have been irresponsible and not honest after damages to our home . 2 pet maximum. We have fresh eggs for sale daily from our chickens on the ranch . $4 per dozen , just message or call me if you would like some !!! It is located on a Secluded large working cattle ranch, a huge real 3500 square foot log home, where there is a gravel road and cattle and horses roaming freely. We live on the ranch at a separate house away from the log house, there is local restaurants/bars within 15 -20 minutes. It is very quiet and secluded, with beautiful mountain views and city lights on a clear night. This house is great for a big thanksgiving dinner or spending Christmas in the mountains and sometimes its a white snowy Christmas. RVS and campers are welcome, but will be an additional $35 per night. ALSO HAVE COMPLIEMENTARY COFFEE, CREAMER, TEA,POPCORN!! There is a charcoal grill please bring your own charcoal Only 30 minutes from Kings Canyon National Park and Grant Grove 93633 And By Sequoia National Park but further Guests can go for hike around the ranch, which is about 100 acres or just go for an evening walk and enjoy the scenery and maybe see some deer or wild turkeys, use the outside bbq, go fishing for bass, catfish, blue gill, but supply your own fishing gear and the fish are catch and release only. Bring your horses and park your trailer,theres tons of beautiful trails to ride on in the park and horse corrals!! Also if you see us out and about feel free to join in with us if we are bbqing or fishing or just hanging out, don't be shy, but we respect understand as you may want privacy as well . I'm available most of the time on the ranch or just a phone call away or text, chances are you will see us around the ranch somewhere. Also we may be fishing once in a while at the pond or other bnb guests You can walk and hike around the full ranch with the cattle, if we are branding, you are welcome to watch! There are more cattle than people in our city!! Pinehurst lodge for a good burger and steakand interact with the cowboy locals, and 30 minutes from kings canyon and sequoia national park. We live at 3500 ft elevation and get snow a few times a year, the last 2 Christmases have been snowy. We have plenty of wildlife, when you stay at the house you will see the cattle and the horses roaming the property, we have a beautiful view of the mountain big baldy, and the snow capped mountains on a clear day, and all the stars you ever would want to see!! Once we get a few rains you will have access to the fire pit and can enjoy sitting next to a fire outside during the evening. Ride your bikes down the ranch road and beautiful mornings to go jogging . We are near Kings Canyon National Park, Grant Grove, and Sequoia National Park Directions!!! Do not use gps it will get you lost, you must follow these directions!! 180 east to dunlap rd. and turn right. take dunlap rd. for about 11 miles then turn right onto orchard drive, you will go about a mile and then go over 1 cattleguard only,( which is metal bars in the rd. So the cattle can’t go over) then make first right onto dirt rd, there will be 6 trash cans and 6 mailboxes there at the dirt rd.the address is on the post also, then go past a pond and farm implements until you see the address sign on the right with a solar light above it, and go up that driveway, the owners is 1 driveway before A 30 minute drive to the park, and guests can bike down the dirt roads on the ranch to the paved roads as well, the park entrance is Approximately 30 minutes away and there are local stores to get supplies within 20 and 30 minutes away . The road to the park from the ranch and stores are windy as well but are maintained and safe There is no feeding of the livestock without owners permission and the gate must be closed at all times due to the livestock , overnight boarding available for horses if you want to ride in the park and stay at the house . But no riding on the property! The roads will be dusty and cow manure on them. No smoking in the house!! The house has 3 window ac units , 1 upstairs and 2 downstairs . There is not individual ac in each of the bedrooms downstairs because the house is built into the mountain and stays cool. The road to the park is windy but you may also take hwy 180 to the park which is longer from the ranch . Verizon is the only cell carrier that gets out strong at the ranch but there is a landline phone and WiFi in the house . We are 50 miles from the closest large city so please bring all your food and anything you may need . There is a local gas station and store 20 minutes from the house you can get some food, salads , lunch meat , breads , pizzas etc., snacks , beer ,lotto, and tobacco at
