A beautiful oak-framed barn conversion, set within six acres of private grounds just outside rural Blackboys. The barn is separate from the main house, with its own external space at the back of the house and ample space for parking at the front. The barn has an open plan living space with sofa bed, TV, kitchen & dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, microwave, electric hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle and a Nespresso coffee maker. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a king-size bed, two wardrobes and drawers for clothes. The main bathroom is upstairs and has a walk-in shower and freestanding bath. Downstairs there is a twin bedroom (can also be set up as superking size) with hanging space for clothes and an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC. The barn shares a large driveway with our family home and has a good size area to park your car. The building is separate from the house and enjoys an outside seating area to the back. There are lots of beautiful walks nearby and we are close to the Ashdown forest. The Blackboys Inn is our closest pub and is well-known for its delicious gastro-pub food. It has a lovely dining room and pretty gardens. Uckfield is our nearest town, with supermarkets, coffee shops and great independent cinema. The pretty, historic town of Lewes is a fifteen-minute drive and well worth a visit - plenty of shops, a cinema, restaurants, pubs and places to stop for coffee. Glyndebourne is also about a fifteen-minute drive away, for opera during the season May - October. Eastbourne, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells - are all about half an hour's drive.
