Our Traditional House is perfectly located in the peaceful & serene rural countryside of Ayia Varvara; offering boutique style modern luxury living. It is ideal for any kind of traveller; families, couples or small groups. Only a short drive to the major cities of Nicosia & Larnaca; you can have access the islands key historical & cultural points but also beautiful sandy beaches. Enjoy a fun filled holiday or relax in a tranquil private setting, whatever you prefer this location offers it all! Our Traditional House is a small piece of a private paradise well kept in the beautiful village of Ayia Varvara. Parts of the property stand true to its 100 year old architectural form, which was the original home of the owning family's ancestors. The interior is enriched with authentic family heirlooms and traditional Cypriot home decor, which strongly enhance the legacy and the inheritance of well kept native Cypriot customs and traditions that have been passed on from generation to generation. The kitchen and pantry area are maintained in the original building and are fully equipped with all basic cooking necessities and kitchenware, such as oven and hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine etc. A clothes washing machine and clothes dryer is also available. The living room area is open plan and allows comfort living with a widescreen TV and pool view. A bar is also located in the living room for your events entertainment. The bedroom areas have been newly built and renovated, offering boutique style contemporary luxury living, whilst combining the benefits of a natural agro-tourism setting. Modern day convenience is KEY. thus the bedrooms are all equipped with en-suite facilities, two of the three bedrooms are also fitted with a small kitchenette; and the ground floor bedroom is also accompanied by a small living room with 2 x sofa bed arrangements if required from our guests. All bedrooms have orthopedic mattresses, brand new Air Conditioning units for both hot and cold air, a stable WI-FI connection and balconies with pool view. The communal areas consist of the pool area and pool amenities such as outdoor washrooms, the covered kiosk area with the outdoor furniture and garden. The garden is covered with authentic herbs and scents of Cyprus which fill the air with a strong Mediterranean aura. You are more than welcome to pick the herbs and use for tea or cooking but you are strongly advised to do so according to your own dietary restrictions/allergies etc. as we do not bare any responsibility for this; so please use at your own discretion if you decide to do so. Moving on, there is also a specific allocated space for BBQ and grilling for your enjoyable outdoor cooking events and also a Cyprus traditional oven for the more conventional way of food preparation. Furthermore, free street parking is available outside the premises and we also provide all bedding, linen and towels for your stay. Finally, a welcome pack upon arrival will also be provided with traditional Cypriot treats, the house rules and also plenty of suggestions on what to do, what to see and most importantly what to eat in our beautiful island! Welcome to our Traditional House in Ayia Varvara Village! Guests can access all areas of our property apart from the "Anoi" space above the kitchen and the storage space behind the kitchen as these are locked for the owners personal use. Other than that, all other spaces including the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, outdoor kiosk, pool, garden and garden furniture are accessible to the guests. Hello and welcome! Upon arrival one of my co-hosts will be there to welcome you to the property and give you a few insider tips on what to do - what to see and most importantly what to eat in our beautiful village! For very early or late check in / check-out times; we also offer key delivery direct to the airport [additional charges may apply]. During your stay we will be available to contact for whatever you need. Finally, due to covid-19 and social distancing self check in and self check out may apply. Enjoy your stay! Various bus routes and intercity links are available to and from the location. You can always check the Cyprus by Bus website for more information on this. For a Taxi Service: iTaxi Cyprus is highly recommended. Please do let me know upon booking if you will need this service for any of your transports [to & from the airport / or day tours around the island] and we will arrange it for you at the best possible rates. Finally,there is plenty of free street parking available outside the premises. If you wish to rent a car we can introduce you to the car rental companies we collaborate with, so just send your email through with your reservation and request. All Covid-19 cleaning and set up protocols are strictly kept from our behalf for your safety. All our properties are conducted with pest control, health & sanitation checks at the beginning and end of each season. Our AC units go through maintenance and mechanical service once a year. For WiFi speed upgrades we can accommodate this for you if needed at your own additional expense. Due to the current pandemic, self check in and self check out procedures are conducted by the guests alone. Detailed instructions are given a day before arrival and departure. Our check in & check out times are super flexible so go ahead and request that early check in and late check out and make the most of your stay! If however, we have a same day check in / check out on the day that you arrive/depart; then please note that we will do our best to accommodate your request but we also need to take into consideration our departing or new arriving guests :) Furthermore, in the circumstances that a very early or late / self check in is required [for check ins before 08:00 and as of 18:00 onwards] we provide various options for key delivery including delivery directly to the airport [extra charges apply]. Pool and garden maintenance occurs twice per week. For the little ones if you will need a travel baby crib or a high chair; please do let us know in advance to arrange [NO Extra charges apply for this additional service]. For the beach, we are happy to provide beach towels at the following charge: 2 x beach towels = 10 euros 4 x beach towels = 16 euros 6 x beach towels = 24 euros 8 x beach towels = 30 euros Please treat our property as you would your own; and please do make sure to put everything back into its place before you check out if you happen to move things around such as furniture etc. Thank You!
