The Coach House is situated amid the beautiful gardens of Crossways House, on the edge of Chipstead Village, with its lake and 2 excellent foodie pubs both within walking distance. The house which sleeps 6, can be let for a minimum of 3 nights. Original 1760 coach house converted into 2 bedroom home in 1990. Wonderful views and access to gardens in front of conservatory. Fully functional kitchen with dining table that seats 6. Two single beds are part of living room area. Parking or 10 minutes in a taxi from Sevenoaks station with fast connection to the City and West End (30 minutes). The house is self contained. Please enjoy the gardens in front of the conservatory. There is parking for 2 cars on Coach House drive. Your stay is self catering using the fully equipped kitchen. I would be happy to advise on great restaurants in Sevenoaks, in the Weald, on our fabulous gastro pubs in Chipstead, as well as on the numerous historic houses, estates and gardens to visit locally. A large 24 hour Tescos is situated in Riverhead about 10 minutes drive away; there is also a large Marks and Spencer with a foodhall and a large Waitrose in Sevenoaks. There are numerous National Trust and historic private properties to visit near by: Knole Park (a calendar house and deer park) in Sevenoaks, Chartwell, Ightham Mote (great pub in village too), Emmetts Garden, Sissinghurst Castle, Hever Castle, Penshurst, etc. There are wonderful walks along the North Downs Way, which you can join 15 minutes walk away above Chevening, with great pub lunches in the surrounding villages. Bewl Water Reservoir is near for cycling, walking, fishing. Chipstead Lake is used for sailing. Bedgebury Pinetum for cycling.
