Large and charming bedroom on the Hudson

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and you. We prefer that you leave children home. Out of many guests we have also hosted medical students, writers, musicians, business people, nurses, doctors, coast to coast bikers (*), All ready to check out Manhattan, our beloved Big Apple and explore our unusual city ,Yonkers, which is just 10 minutes away from Northern Manhattan Crow fly time. The room is a good sized bedroom in a three bedroom house with a comfortable queen size bed and is fully furnished with chest of drawers, desk and, of course, the bed. The Bathroom is adjacent. The bedroom is on the second floor, so you will use the main entry door and the main stair to access the room and bath. There is access to the Dining Room and some Kitchen access. We use the remainder of the house for our own living. We are willing to help out with deciding what to see and where to go, if requested. We both speak a number of languages, so if you speak French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, Cantonese, or just plain English, we can help. We can even be presuaded to sit and chat. The Ludlow Park is a unique single family residential neighborhood. Very diverse and dog friendly located on the Hudson, a few minutes away from Metro North which arrives to Grand Central station in Manhattan within 35 minutes. People are very friendly here and know each other. We call it our "Village on the Hudson". Our neighborhood is also very close to Riverdale. You have access to Buses, Subway as well as to Metro-North leading you easily to Manhattan. Your hosts, John and Leila, are animal lovers. Leila is actually a dog trainer. They own two cats and a magnificent friendly Afghan Hound. Leila's canine students sometimes get boarded and sleep in her own bedroom. They are very well behaved. Leila works from home. Both are great hosts for conversation and information about what to do in New York and Yonkers. They love sharing animal stories with animal lovers.
