Cot and high chair available for a baby. Own entrance with security locked gate. On street parking. This newly renovated 1 bedroom barn is clean fresh and airy, with huge windows to a stunning view. Cosy and comfy, this is the perfect getaway for a romantic break. The sitting room has a flat screen TV, two sofas, dining table for 4, desk and wifi. The bedroom has a beautiful king size bed, made up with the finest Egyptian Cotton bedding. There is a high chair and travel cot (please bring your own bedding) available for a baby. The kitchen has seating for 4 and double doors onto your own private gravelled area where you can sit and soak up the sunshine. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. Post House barn has its own security locked entrance and plenty of on street parking. You have the entire barn and gravelled seating area to enjoy, with your own entrance, which is security locked. Check yourself in with the key in the lock box by the front door (return keys to this box on your departure). Should you need to contact the Host during your stay, you'll find contact information in the folder, in the sitting room. Post House Barn is situated in the stunning Cotswold village of Whichford. Only a 1 minute walk to the Norman Knight pub (serving amazing home made food) with a beer garden overlooking the village green, 3 mins walk to Whichford Pottery and 5 mins walk to beautiful Whichford Wood. This is a great base for exploring the many picturesque Cotswold villages and market towns, and a wealth of National Trust properties and gardens that open throughout the year. There are countless places to visit nearby, and keen walkers and cyclists are spoilt by the abundance of way-marked paths and cycle routes from the town, and surrounding villages. With its quaint tea shops, independent retailers and cosy pubs, Chipping Norton is just 5 miles away, an historic market town dating back to the 12th Century. Attractions within the area include The Rollright Stones, Batsford Arboretum, Soho Farmhouse, many National Trust properties and gardens including Blenheim Palace and Chastleton House, with Brook Cottage Garden, the Bloxham Museum and the Civil War battlefield of Edgehill are also well worth a visit. For shoppers, Bicester shopping village is within easy access and offers a great day out. There's also Shakespeare’s birthplace Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Oxford with its dreaming spires and Cheltenham, home of the Gold Cup. Special Events: Christmas, New Year and the Cheltenham Horse Racing Festival are Special Events, with bookings typically limited to weeks only from a specific start day.
