Relaxing Staycation at a Country Lane Cottage

Welcome to Spinney Lane Cottage, where we offer a country vibe, featuring all the modern amenities. We have high speed internet, A/C, TV and an Alexa; or come out to unplug, unwind and relax. Our fully equipped, and open concept living space offers something for everyone. A morning cappuccino with a view of the rolling fields, a glass of wine in the evening at home, or a quick walk to enjoy one of the local country pubs. A king sized bed awaits you to end your day, and melt any worries away! You will have everything you need and more to make your stay a memorable one! The fully equipped cottage features a comfortable living area with a smart TV and high speed internet. The kitchen offers all the essentials, whether you are looking to make a 5 course meal or a simple breakfast; it is all there for you. The bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed with deluxe bedding and a TV. We do offer a single fold away bed for one extra person if needed, just let us know and we will make it up. In the spacious and bright bathroom you will find a nice sized stand-up shower, complete with cozy bath towels. There is a fence around the front of the cottage to offer a private outdoor sitting area, including a BBQ for your own use. Please note we are a self check-in using codes for the back gate entrance and to the cottage (annex). There are 2 marked and designated parking spots in our large private driveway. You will be given a fob to use during your stay to access our parking area. Although we do live on site, the cottage is completely private, and from the aerial view picture you can see there is a lot of grassy area between us. We are here if you need us for anything, do not hesitate to ask. We are surrounded by country pubs within walking distance. It is a 10 minute walk to the Knebworth Train Station, where you could travel into London(30mins)or Cambridge(48 mins) just to name a couple. We are conveniently located near Knebworth Park known for outdoor concerts and other events. Warner Bros Studio is a short 30 min drive, where Harry Potter was partially filmed. If rambling or biking is more your style, we have an abundance of trails and attractions around us. We are surrounded by lush green rolling hills, equestrian stables and treed areas, that offer serenity and escape from the city. *10 minute walk to the train station * Cabs and Uber are readily available * Designated shared private parking for 2 cars * Nearby paths and biking Although there is no smoking allowed in the actual cottage, smoking is allowed outside of the cottage.
