We also do not allow outside visitors or parties. Waterfront on Island Creek and Patuxent River. Within steps to the water (perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding & fishing), property has huge lawn area perfect for a picnic type setting. Stunning views of large majestic trees, waterway and wildlife. Interior is spotlessly clean and super comfortable with ample space to relax and enjoy. Patio, shore line, fishing, crabbing, bring a kayak, paddle board, rafts, bikes, small boat. We can also refer you to a great local company that rents and delivers kayaks and bikes! Just at check in, if required. Broomes Island is a charming waterfront community, actually a small island! Within short bike ride to fabulous waterfront seafood restaurant, "Stoney's". And short bike ride to marina with convenience store, boat ramp and boat slips. There are numerous parks close by such as Jefferson Patterson & Calvert Cliffs State Park. Quaint and lovely Solomons Island is within a 20 minute drive and has many amazing waterfront restaurant as well as a small board walk and The Calvert Marine Museum. 1 hour south of DC, Annapolis and Northern VA! Just off Route 4, and 20 minutes north of scenic Solomons Island. Historic St. Mary’s is within a 1 hour drive. A showstopper. Enchanting decor, glorious water views. A nature and water front lovers paradise. We live on the property and also have a small, friendly dog, Reggie. Please be careful when driving in and out of the driveway.
