YOUR SPACE Large, sunny, private room in a vibrant neighborhood on the "East Side" of Providence. The house is occupied by a part-time artist / semi-retired professional and is smoking and pet free. The bedroom sleeps two and has AC. If you require separate bedrooms or have a third member in your party, a second bedroom, with AC, is also available for an additional $50/night. THE NEIGHBORHOOD The house is located on Providence's East Side in an urban residential neighborhood. It is within walking distance of interesting shops (unique gifts, boutiques, spices, artisan oils & vinegars, florist), and several excellent restaurants (Thai, Chinese, Indian, French, Italian, Pizza, Wings, Artisan Bakery). Walk to convenience store, dry cleaners, laundry, library, bank, CVS Pharmacy and The Miriam Hospital. GETTING AROUND It is less than a block to public transportation (# 1 Bus ). Thayer Street, Brown University, RISD are a 12 min bus ride away. Downtown Providence, Johnson & Wales University, Providence Place Mall and the Convention Center are only a short distance further. Providence College is also within 15 minutes by car or can be reached via public transportation. Amtrak Train and Bus terminals are short cab rides away. Zip Cars available within three blocks.
