Countryside relax at the Danube

Our countryside home is a mix of old and modern, where we're trying to provide you a calm and comfortable stay close to the nature. The more than 100 years old original house has been extended and equipped with modern amenities (a new kitchen and bathroom, central heating etc). During your stay you will have access to the leafy, green garden, an ideal place for sunbathing, making a barbecue etc. The house is located in the center of the village, a 5-minute-walk from the shopping facilities and 10-15 minutes from the riverside The house has two separate, spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub. Although we don't live in the village, we'll provide you with all the necessary information about the house and its surrounding. We often stay nearby so we might meet you personally as well. Kulcs is a calm village with a large weekend houser population. Here you can enjoy an active holiday by being close to the Danube, doing watersports, biking etc. The neighbouring village (Rácalmás) and town (Dunaújváros) have more sport facilities e.g. tennis courts, swimming pool etc) They both have excellent reastaurants worth visiting. Kulcs is well-connected to the neighbouring villages and even to Budapest by public transport (train and buses). If you travel by car, you can park it in the garden (parking is free in the village and in the neighbouring villages. It's an old house which we've renovated trying to make it more convenient but still keeping its rustic charm. Thanks to the building structure it remains cool even during the summer heat, so the house doesn't need extra air conditioning
