Villa Forconi is a luxury holiday rental villa with wifi, pool, 4 bedrooms and 4 en suite bathrooms. All rooms are very spacious and furnished to a very high standard with maximum comfort. The 3 principal bedrooms are on the first floor and all have sitting areas with sofas and en suite bathrooms two of the upstairs bedrooms have a sofa bed as well as a large double bed, one of the bedrooms has a balcony with chairs and great views. Downstairs is the magnificent kitchen: it is spacious, light and modern. A central island has five cooking hobs and two ovens, there is a US style fridge with ice and water dispenser, two large double sinks, dishwasher, a bread maker, washing machine and dryer. It is fully equipped with all cookery essentials and an iPod dock. with large dining table to one end and doors out to the outside dining area. There are 2 sitting rooms the first with sofas, a fireplace and a telescope and french windows onto the garden. The second sitting room can be the 4th bedroom, there is a Smart TV with Sky Italia. This room has a good sofa bed as well as armchairs and an ensuite bathroom. If used as a bedroom it is entirely private. The comfortable and roomy interior and well maintained garden and pool make it a great base from which to explore Umbria and Tuscany. The location is peaceful with a great view from the house down the beautiful Niccone Valley towards the more distant Appenine mountains. Within 15 minutes you can be on the superstrada heading towards Perugia in one direction, or Siena and the A1 autostrada in the other. In 10 to 15 minutes you can be at the lakeside town of Tuoro sul Trasimeno, and, in the other direction, the villages of Lisciano Niccone and Mercatale di Cortona. There are three nearby places to eat, one restaurant, In Bocca al Lupo, can be reached on foot and the other two, Hotel La Cima and Lo Scoiattolo, are a 5 minute car journey or 35 minute walk along a quiet track.
