Norfolk Lodge/Villa - 15 minutes from the sea

Our holiday villa is set in a stunning meadow location on the edge of the village together with a number of other holiday properties. We use it as a 'home from home' during school holidays and rarely if ever let it out. We are very close to the Thursford Collection, 10 minutes from Holt and 15 minutes from the coast at Morston or Stiffkey; a few more minutes and you are on the beach at Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham or Sheringham. Please note that dogs can only be brought with prior agreement. Downstairs is largely open plan, with a dining area (seats 8 comfortably), kitchen area (2 ovens, 1 combi microwave oven, one coffee maker, all Neff), sitting area with three sofas and chairs overlooking the garden and an upright piano. Off the kitchen is a laundry/utility room (with washing machine) and WC, together with a side entrance which is useful for muddy boots! Off the sitting area is a TV room which can also double as a bedroom with a sofabed; there is a large selection of board games, DVDs and Wii games at your disposal. Outside is a large lawned garden (badminton and croquet available) and patio area, including a covered decked area. The patio is perfect for a hot tub, which we can arrange for you if desired. Upstairs, bedroom 1 has a super king size bed and en suite shower room, bedroom 2 has two single beds (which can be pushed together to make one super king, please tell us your preference when you book) and an en suite shower room, bedroom 3 has two single beds and there is a family bathroom. There is also a further additional small folding bed (suitable for a child) which can be put in any room. There is a travel cot, as well as stair gates and a high chair. You will have full, private use of the entire property. During your stay we can be contacted via email or phone. There will be local contacts for any assistance you require. The North Norfolk countryside is well known for its stunning scenery and coastline, loads of amazing places to eat (some which need to be booked way in advance!), shopping and browsing in Holt, stately homes and gardens to visit... and of course the beach! There is plenty of good walking but this is definitely one for using the car rather than public transport. The driveway has ample parking. Please note the capacity of the house includes children - with a child in a travel cot and another on the foldout bed, it could be ten - but there should be no more than seven adults please - the sofabed can sleep two children comfortably but only one adult, and the foldout is only suitable for children.
