The Big Slepe, St Ives

St Ives, once called Slepe, is a lovely town on the river Great Ouse, 20 minutes by car from Cambridge or a short ride on the guided bus. The train station at nearby Huntingdon has trains into London or to the North. There are some superb pubs and several award winning eateries; Indian, Italian, French. We have a museum, an Italian delicatessen and several small independent shops and cafes. We have a market here on Mondays and a delightful farmers market on the 1st Saturday of the month. A cosy yet stylish sleeping space adjoining the family home, ensure a cosseted feel awaits The Big Slepe's guests. Little extras: Award winning 'Emma' mattress An iron and ironing board is available on request for those party pieces. Robes are there for your use after a refreshing shower. Laundry facilities are available, washing machine and tumble dryer. Continental Breakfast if required for an extra charge. Just let me know before you arrive please. Complimentary WIFI, TV, tea and coffee facilities, off road parking, own entrance and access to a delightful courtyard garden with comfortable seating. St Ives is a lovely town, and the centre is about 10 minutes walk from the quiet residential area where The Big Slepe is located. Walking into the centre of St Ives takes about 8 to 10 minutes, driving about 5 minutes. There is a guided bus stop close by, which takes you into Cambridge. Huntingdon railway station, with trains to London and the North is a 15 minute car journey away. Strictly NO SMOKING anywhere on or in the property. Breakfast would consist of crossiants or bread, cereal, fruits, juice, jams, butter and yogurts. Please let me know if you require white or brown and any allergies, in advance and I will leave everything for you in your room. (An extra cost of £5 per person) I'm happy to accommodate small dogs only. Please inform me when you book if you intend on bringing a dog. Thank you.
