Situated opposite Bellingham Golf course, the Old Chapel was built in 1856 and converted in 1986. It offers stylish accommodation with persian carpets, polished stripped floors and a newly installed kitchen containing everything you could want for for a specially relaxed and luxurious stay. 3 king sized beds, one double and a sofa bed. Library area with biomass stove. Dogs welcome by prior arrangement. PEAK SEASON (Summer) 7 day bookings only sat - sat The main sitting room has lots of comfortable seating and a 50 inch TV. Behind the seating area is the dining area. Steps lead up to the pulpit and onto the mezzanine bedroom with its superb 4 poster bed and EnSite bathroom. Behind the sitting room is the library area with a double sofa bed and biomass stove. There is a toilet off the library,. The kitchen is newly installed, with American style fridge freezer, range cooker and dishwasher. A turret staircase leads down to the three bedrooms, a boot room with washing machine, a second living room with smart TV, and French windows leading the garden. There is a separate toilet at the bottom of the stairs. The family bathroom has a large shower, slipper bath and two basins. Parking available on driveway for all guests. House is approx. 200m from village centre On the edge of the Northumberland National Park, and based in the dark skies area which ensures fabulous night skies, and the occasional Northern Lights display. Hareshaw Linn is a beautiful waterfall which is on the outskirts of the village. Central to Kielder Forest and water Park, Hadrians wall, and many walks and cycle trails. East coast beaches and castles within an hours car drive. Bellingham offers a good selection of pubs and cafes. There is a post office, bakers, supermarket, butchers, and fresh fruit and vegetables in the village. The Country Store sells everything you could want or need for country living and there are good craft shops in the village. On site parking for 5 cars. Bus service to Hexham from village centre. Local taxi services. No ball games allowed in the garden, as the stained glass windows are more than 150 years old. No smoking in the house. No men or women only parties please without prior agreement. A maximum of 10 people to stay at any time. Dogs welcome by prior arrangement. This property is heated via a biomass heating system which nay require topping up during your stay.
