3 bedroom apartment (85m2) with separate entrance door and terrace. All rooms (except the bathroom) are southward, which makes the apartment very bright and sunny. Odenwald Apartment is a spacious and bright 3 bedroom apartment for up to 6 guests with separate entrance door. The living space is 85m2. The apartment is southward, which makes it very light and sunny. Please note that the apartment is not accessible for wheelchairs. To reach the apartment, you have to get up an external staircase (comparable to first floor). The apartment itself is barrier-free. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction cooker, oven, dishwasher, fridge, utensils, dishes and cutlery for 6 people. A kitchen table with 4 chairs as well as coffee, tea and spices are ready for use. There is also a washer-dryer. The bathroom has a bathtub. Towels are provided for the guests during their stay. The green bedroom has 2 single beds as well as a cupboard and a chest of drawers. The red bedroom offers a double bed, a cupboard and access to the sunny terrace. Bed linen is of course provided. The living room has a big dining table for 6 people and the couch which will be the sleeping berth for the 5th and 6th person. Apart from the TV (with Netflix), we offer books (in German and English), games and puzzles for entertainment. On the terrace, you will find a patio table with 6 chairs, a sunshade and a BBQ. There is one free parking space for your car. If you are travelling with kids, we can offer a crib, a high chair as well as a baby bathtub. Please let me know on your booking. In Germany, it is compulsory that you fill out the registration form at arrival. International guests must also show a valid ID or passport. The whole apartment is at your availability (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, corridor and terrace). The apartment can only be reached by an external staircase. The apartment is located in the village Oberflockenbach, which belongs to Weinheim, but it is 10km away from the city centre. Only 240m away, you will find a small grocery shop, a bakery (which is also open on Sunday mornings), a pharmacy, a doctor, a dentist, a physiotherapy and a restaurant with local cuisine. In short distance, you will find a petrol station. A playground with swings, a slide, table tennis table and a football ground is only 3 min by foot. There are several marked hiking trails in the woods. The city centre of Weinheim is 10km away. It has the oldest and the youngest castle along the touristic route "Bergstraße" (Windeck and Wachenburg), the tanner quarter with old timbered houses, the ancient town wall and towers, the palace of Weinheim (which is now the town hall) with the palace garden, the garden Hermannshof, the market square with the old town hall. Heidelberg with its famous castle and the historic city centre is about 20km away. Mannheim with its castle and the famous Luisenpark is about 25km away. Speyer with the dome and the technical museum is 50km away. The technical museum in Sinsheim is also 50km away. Lorsch and the monastery is 30km away. Weinheim is located along the touristic route "Bergstraße" between Darmstadt and Heidelberg. Our apartment is located in the village Oberflockenbach in the "Odenwald". You have to take the exit Hirschberg from the motorway A5, then follow Hirschberg-Großsachsen. In Großsachsen, you have to turn right and follow the direction Oberflockenbach for about 5km. There are free parking slots along the street, just in front of the house. Please make sure that the pedestrians have enough space to walk on the pavement! The nearest train station is Weinheim (10km). You can reach the airport of Frankfurt in 45 min by car. The apartment is located in a rural part of Weinheim (the city centre of Weinheim is 10km away), but within the Rhein-Neckar region, near Heidelberg and Mannheim. Therefore, we have the advantages of both, city and countryside: peace, nature and fresh air at the doorstep and many nice destinations and urban cultural programme in 15 to 30 min distance (Weinheim 10km, Heidelberg and Mannheim 20km each).
