Set in a quiet corner of the stunning Hodsock Priory Estate, the Hideaway is the perfect location to get away from it all! With our 4 poster Rose-Gold master bedroom, Steam Punk themed room, and a sumptuous single room, you will be spoilt for choice, each with a breath-taking view. Snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove or relax in our bespoke garden room with double bed settee, artists corner and table with chairs for snacks/playing games together. Late check out available upon request The property is a charming, 1930s semi-detached, three bedroom cottage with modern bathroom, shower over bath, oil fired central heating and double glazing. Boasting quirky, comfortable décor including our four poster master bedroom, and a themed 'Stem Punk' double room for a touch of the wild side! A cosy lounge with log burner, good sized dining room, very well equipped kitchen with microwave and utility/boot room complete with washing machine, Fridge, mini freezer and dishwasher. The cottage also has a large enclosed garden, with our resident bunnies 'Kanga and Roo'. A luxurious heated garden room with a comfortable bed-settee (allowing an extra two guests to stay if required!) table and chairs and a large patio with garden furniture for alfresco dining! Situated in a rural location, Hodsock Hideaway is just a few minutes drive from the A1 and only 15 minutes from Retford railway station (1.5 hours from London Kings Cross). Hodsock is an ideal base for visiting the National Trust gems such as Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park. For those who prefer life in the city, day trips to York, Leeds and Sheffield are all under 1 hrs drive. There are excellent local pubs, restaurants and tea rooms within a very short drive, or why not order one of our unique sharing buffet platters to enjoy together, made especially for you and delivered directly to your cottage door? During your stay we can arrange exclusive access to the private Hodsock Priory formal gardens (by arrangement only) and you can take full advantage of miles of walks and cycle paths through the estate woodlands and grounds renowned for it’s stunning display of snowdrops and bluebells in the spring. We live on the Hodsock Estate so we are just a 2 minute walk away from you should you have any problems at all. We are more than happy to help add the finishing touches to your getaway. Please ask about additional options of champagne chocolates and fresh flowers in the bedroom for a small additional charge. There's no need to dash off on your last day with our late option of a 12 noon check out, enjoy a lie in (in our sumptuous beds that we just know you will love!) or a leisurely Sunday morning walk and brunch before heading off - however you chose to spend your time at the Hideaway we can promise you will feel refreshed, revitalized, rested and re-charged!
