The Conkers is in the picturesque Hamlet of Moorwood Moor on of the edge of the Peak District. There are many walks from the door and 150 yards along the lane is The White Hart Inn where you will experience good food or just enjoy a well-deserved glass of wine. The Conkers delightful garden and orchard area provides a lovely spot for a relaxing drink, or perhaps some alfresco dining after a busy day exploring. There is ample off road secure parking behind automated gates. The Conkers is situated on the edge of the Peak District with easy access for exploring the Derbyshire country side and many stately homes in the area, including iconic Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle to name but a few. Also close by we have Crich Tramway Museum, Wingfield Manor, Ogston Reservoir, Matlock Bath or take a trip to the World Heritage Site of the Richard Arkwright Mills in Cromford. Guests are welcome to use our beautiful garden and orchard. Guests have their own private entrance and secure off road parking The Conkers is self catering accommodation with everything to make our guests comfortable, however, we are always on hand if guests need any information whether its via telephone, email, or text. The Conkers is in the pretty Hamlett of Moorwood Moor on the edge of The Peak District close to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Wingfield Manor, Crich Tramway Museum, Smedleys Mill, Ogston Reservoir, Matlock Bath, Bakewell to name but a few places to visit in the surrounding area. Also two minutes walk along the lane, there is The White Hart Inn where you will experience good food or just enjoy a well-deserved glass of wine after spending a day exploring the Derbyshire country side. There are many walks from the door. You will need transport when staying at The Conkers as the nearest bus stop is 1 mile away. There are plenty of lovely walks from the door and many interesting places to visit including Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall, Haddon Hall, Crich Tramway Museum and much much more. There are excellent eatery's, some within walking distance and others a short drive.
