A most unusual cottage situated right on the River Teign, this Victorian chalet can be approached by footpath or, when the tide is out, along the foreshore. At high tide the river laps off the walls and swans paddle past. Comfortably furnished and cosy with a log burning stove, the sun room (used as a dining room) is excellent for bird-watching, whilst the surrounding area is ideal for fishing, sailing, windsurfing and water-skiing, with great walks as close as the front and back door, and golf nearby. Please note that there are 18 steps down to the front door and parking is 200m (approx 2-3 mins walk) from the cottage so if you have difficulty walking this may not be suitable as there are patches of uneven ground. Dartmoor, Newton Abbott, Dartmouth, Exeter and Torbay are all close by.
