The villa is situated in a pittoresque village at 630 mt height, having a breathtaking panorama over the Pagasitikos gulf. The property has a private swimming pool,vegetable garden,barbeque,playstation3,pool table,satellite TV and internet. We offer free delivery from local producers to the villa (no need to drive to do groceries!), organise walks in the mountain and daily tours to Meteora, Delphi, Vergina and Dion. The villa is a wonderful complex of two separated stone houses, builded according to the traditional architectural heritage of the Pelion mountain, yet with a 'modern' flavour and facilities. It is located in a property that oversees Pagasitikos gulf and Aegean sea. As this is a family-owned house one of us will be readily available should any advice be needed or any problems arise. We are very discreet and willing to help our guests with any questions they might have regarding the villa or their Pelion stay in general. We offer a welcome - basket of fresh vegetables from our garden on your arrival and we will be more than happy to help you organise your adventure at Pelion Penisnula (walking, cannoying, horse riding, boat renting, swimming, tips about where to eat and drink local "fire water"-tsipouro etc.) Guests will have access to one of the two houses (the one shown in the main photo and catalog photos), the garden and exclusive access to the pool. For the sea lovers though beautiful beaches are within reach, about 20-40 minutes by car (Ask for tips!). Pelion mountain has many picturesque villages worth visiting, with many traditional restaurants shops and museums. It is famous for its fabled nature. If you are a person/family that loves sports and outdoor activity, Pelion offers many possibilities like mountain bike, trekking, tour guiding in the forests, scuba diving and even horse riding. During winter the ski resort of Chania welcomes all the winter sports lovers. Chania is 40 min. drive from the property. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance. Available 24/7 The property is a 10 minute walk away from the nearest village of Agios Georgios Nileias. There you can find "tavernas" with traditional dishes, coffee shops and small market, while is worth visiting the 16th century church of Agios Athanassios (unesco world heritage) and the museum of sculptor "Nicola". There is connection with the city of Volos by bus or by taxi. Generally is advised to rent a car in order to enjoy your stay at Pelion area and visit the magnificent beaches and villages. Pelion is a 340 km drive from Athens and 260 km from Thessaloniki. Check Volos airport for direct and/or charter flights from Germany, France, Austria, UK, Netherlands, Italy, Luxemburg and Belgium. The airport is connected to the city of Volos by the Magnesia Intercity Bus. Taxis are also available outside the terminal. In the central hall of the terminal there are car hire agencies including the international companies Hertz, Budget, Avis. A 600-meter-long dirt road leads down to the entrance of the house. An SUV will be ideal.
