Very rural but within sight of the Wembley Arch. Double bedroom, sitting room with wood burner & kitchen + dining area with bathroom off. The Plough Inn serving great food + village shop are opposite. Under an hour to Gatwick & perfectly located for exploring the Surrey Hills by bike, feet or on horse back. Our guests love the vibe generated by the horse breeding and training programme. We will facilitate close contact with them as much as possible. Basic but atmospheric. 3 timber stables. Converted to a comfortable standard. Double bedroom, sitting room with wood burner & kitchen with shower / toilet / bathroom off. All situated on the opposite side of the lawn to the main house. The sitting room has a double sofa bed but camp beds are available if necessary Once you have introduced yourself to me and I have pointed out one or 2 safety issues that may prevent you accessing parts of the property - go where you want apart from the main house I work from home so am not normally far away. I always have my mobile with me and will do my best to be available to assist at all times This is a cheerful and welcoming little hamlet in the middle of the Surrey Hills AONB - the usual mix of young families, retired couples , commuters and homeworkers. We are surrounded by other villages, pubs, working farms and larger estates (both private and owned by the National Trust or Forestry Commission). There is an occasional bus into Dorking (where trains go regularly to London - 1 hour). But you are mainly reliant on your own car, feet, bike or Thom's goodwill. Sadly until the necessary permissions and insurances are in place we can not offer horse rides.
