We want you to have a wonderful time of country peace & quiet so we'll do our best to give you that. If you ever need anything we're just across the way and we'll gladly help. Ashdown Forest is on the doorstep and we are within easy reach of many National Trust properties and gardens, Rudyard Kipling's house - Batemans, Sheffield Park and Wakehurst Place - Kew's 'Garden in the Country'. Ideal for visiting Glyndebourne or for playing golf at the nearby Piltdown or East Sussex National, cycling on the Cuckoo Trail or sailing on Bewl Water. You'll need a car! This is very much rural Sussex. Train - Haywards Heath is the closest direct line train into London Victoria or London Bridge, via Gatwick (45 mins).
