Dont forget all the hikes, waterfalls & sights in the area! Our cottage is a quaint 70's home, with modern mid century updates and decor to help you feel relaxed during your stay. We're only 1.7 miles from Cheoah point beach, 10 miles to Joyce Kilmer memorial forest, 7 miles to yellow creek falls, 15 miles to tail of the dragon. You will have the cottage to yourself to enjoy. The town of Lake Santeetlah is magical to say the least, enjoy quiet walks listening to nature and taking in the sights of the lake, enjoy the cool mountain air, keep an eye out for the cute little signs naming some of the local plants! You're surrounded by amazing hikes, waterfalls, and outdoor activities, each season having its own beauty to offer. Nantahala National Forest, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, tail of the dragon, fly fishing, tubing. There's something for everyone!
