The apartment is a part of the house complex at Sunnuhlíð, a farmland close to the town of Akureyri. The apartment is perfect for four adults, two couples or families traveling on their own. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of Eyjafjörður and Akureyri. Additional fee for more than two guests is  € 18 per guest, per night. The apartment is a part of the house complex at Sunnuhlíð farmland – few kilometers from Akureyri. On the property of Sunnuhlið there are also three new small modern houses and a farmhouse, now a guesthouse. The apartment is perfect for three adults, two couples or families traveling on their own in Iceland. In our property guests can enjoy the beautiful view of Eyjafjörður (the fjord) and Akureyri. A car is necessary to reach Sunnuhlíð, located 12 km from Akureyri and the local airport. The apartment is very easy to access from route 1 (The Ring Road). If this apartment (A) is occupied at your preferred dates, please check the twin apartment (B) for availability or the small three houses (New small houses - great view! no. 1, 2 or 3). THE APARTMENT There are two twin apartments in a former cheep cote - completely rebuilt in a new modern style. In each are two bedrooms: two with two single beds each. The living room/kitchen has a dining table, chairs and a sofa, and not to forget panoramic view of Eyjafjörður and Akureyri through the windows. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge with a freezer and all other basic kitchen equipment. BED LINEN The bed linen/towels are included in the price. On the property of Sunnuhlið you will be in close contact with nature and can go on short or longer trips straight up the hill from the house. Excellent for bird watching or relaxing walks in nature. Walking distance from the house you will find “The folk and outsider art museum” and a small village named Svalbarðseyri. We would like to emphasise the great view from the houses at the midnight sun. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood at 12 minutes drive from Akureyri, which offers all the usual attractions of a town. From Sunnuhlíð you will have access to all the activities and services that the North of Iceland has to offer. (i.e. Mývatn, Dettifoss, the Grand Canyon of Jökulsárgljúfur, whale watching, sightseeing, hiking, horse riding, etc.)
