The Blue Room is located in the upstairs floor of my home. The first story is where I live, which offers common areas (Kitchen, TV room and Den sitting areas). Continental Breakfast is free. Full breakfast is additional fee (select your choice). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids, but not babies). The house is located on a very picturesque 60 acre working farm with cows, donkeys and a mule. The queen bed is VERY comfortable and shares a hallway entranced bathroom only if there is a second guest booking simultaneously. Hardwood floors, bead board and plaster walls, and antiques round out the decor. The house is very quiet. We have just renovated the bathroom (Oct.2019). It has a taller white subway tiled walk in shower with a new bathroom vanity, LED lights and new mirrors. I have a lovely front porch, gazebo and hammock that guests are free to use; as well as sharing our living room (has large TV w/cable), den and lovely breakfast room that has a wall of windows to view the pasture and back yard (our pride and joy and hang out space). Free WiFi and use of wireless printer as needed. I will interact with guests as much or as little as you wish. I'm friendly and personable and can help you with the area. For an additional $10/person (and if I'm able to fit it into my schedule) I can provide a full breakfast. Continental breakfast, including morning coffee, tea, cereal, and breakfast bars, will be available for free in the kitchen. Just ask if you have special requests, and I'll see if I can accommodate you. Walking/Running our street is fine - this is rural countryside and neighbors are friendly. Winston-Salem is a 15 minutes drive away, Charlotte 1:30 and Raleigh 2 hours. Greensboro airport is the closest (45 mins). I have a large free parking area in my driveway. The farm is a wonderful place for children, with plenty of space to play, and the possibility of seeing cows and feeding the 5 donkeys and/or mule that live here. I live on a quiet rural road, but I'm only 15 minutes from downtown Winston-Salem. I have a sweet older Weimaranar dog that lives downstairs with me.
