Cabin in the forest / river Oder & SAUNA

Room- lounge (with wood stove) in the heart of 6ha of woodland and nature, only 150m from the river Oder, and 100m from our ecological house. The price includes bed-linen and towels, but not breakfast. Equipped with a wood burning stove, electricity, kettle, fridge, fast internet connection, a terrace and private toilets. Suitable for lovers, families, hikers, those seeking nature, peace, isolation, a break with the waves, the discovery of Poland, ideas or advice in ecological construction... Set amid the tranquility of a small forest on the banks of the river Oder is this delightful little wooden cabin with 25sq m of rustic warmth, offering the opportunity for a comfortable break in nature. The dry toilet adjacent to the cabin is for your own use. The windows and the terrace are fitted with mosquito nets. The cabin is well insulated, with cellulose wadding (ecological material), which allows a pleasant temperature in summer and winter. The cabin itself has no kitchen and running water, (but breakfast is provided) and there is a bathroom at your disposal in the house 100m from the cabin. There we, a French family, live and are available to answer your questions and advise you on walks and other visits. From there, 10 minutes on foot along the river takes you to the village where you will find a small restaurant, a chapel overlooking the village, the park "Valley of Love". Of French origin, we speak also English, Polish, German and a little bit Spanish. The cabin is in the middle of a small forest (6 ha). Situated on the bank of the Oder, our village Zaton Dolna is a old fisherman's village. It consists today of 25 houses surrounded by forest and fields. The village is within the zone of the Cedynia landscape park and in the « Natura 2000 » zone incorporating " The Valley of love ", an historic park which hosts very beautiful big trees. On the other side of the river, the German national park " Unteres Odertal " is particularly reccommended for hikes, cycling, canoeing or horse riding (Riding center is 1,5km from the cabin). The city of Schwedt / Oder is 15min away by car, 1/2 an hour by bike, or 1 hour on foot. There's a railway station with trains to Berlin every hour (every two hours on Sundays). We can pick you up at the station for 15 euros per journey. To eat: - We offer a breakfast basket delivered to the cabin for 9 € / person (0.5 € / year for children: ex: 4 years = 2 €) - Near the cabin, there is a place to make a campfire for warmth, atmosphere, and cooking as there is no kitchen in the cabin. The cabin is not equipped with a kitchen, but has a fridge and a kettle. - A kitchen tent (from April to October) next to the house allows you to cook and/or barbecue. At your disposal: crockery, sink for washing up, tea towel, sponge, washing-up liquid, gas cooker, fridge, oil, vinegar, salt. We ask for a contribution of 5€/day for the use of the kitchen (choice for the whole stay). - In the village, friends who run a rolling restaurant can cook delicious take-away meals (also vegetarian or vegan) for you, on request.
