Overlooking the beautiful village green which has a wonderful local restaurant located on the green as well as a pub and different take away options. The local shops a two minute walk round the corner include a butchers and bakery/deli. It is a very central location and you can get to the nearby towns easily including Brightlingsea, Wivenhoe, Colchester, Clacton, Dedham, Mersea. You can get to the nearby towns either by train or a bus. The bus stop is only a short walk at the end of the road. If you prefer to travel by car there is plenty of street parking outside the cottage.
