As it is quite central you can easily get around to local shops and restaurants. The charming village of Azeitão has tours through the vineyards of José Maria da Fonseca and Bacalhôa Caves, Arrábida Mountains, fishing ports and local artisans. As activities, trekking between the vineyards and the mountains is recommended, gastronomy, crafts and quietness is the explanation of being a privileged space for the Portuguese Aristocracy.
