Studio in Malmö- easy to Copenhagen-Newly updated!

A private and affordable studio few minutes from beach, Malmö center and close to trains Copenhagen, DK for day trips. (However...Not ideal if you only want to visit CPH.) This sweet studio also comes with a huge, fantastic bathroom- romantic jacuzzi bath tub. We provide cooktop/hob, kitchen work space, refrigerator, sink, microwave, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker and water boiler. No stove. PERFECTLY located ...VERY close to Malmo Arena, Emporia, Copenhagen airport and downtown Malmo. And, we are FAIRLY priced! 5 -7 minutes with bus or car to Hyllie Station and Malmö Arena- where concerts, sporting events and special showings occur. And, only 15 minutes by bike- please use our bikes. Stay in an upscale and quiet part of Malmö but still have perfect connections to the city and only 20 minutes to Copenhagen. From apartment, you can easily take the train from Hyllie Station to/from Copenhagen. Malmö Airport, Sturup, is located 30 minutes with the Airport Coach. We are Limhamn with lots of 'old town' charm and small shops, boutiques, cafes, restaurants and two major grocery stores. 20 minute bike ride to the center of Malmö. Complimentary use of our bikes. The ocean with stunning views over Öresundsbridge is a 5 minute bike ride from our door. At Hyllie, there is also a brand new shopping center- Emporia -with 200 shops and lots of restaurants/cafés. The Apartment: Clean towels and sheets and pillows included in the price. (Usually, you make -up your own bed with the sheets we provide...hope that is ok!) Studio apartment. Huge private bathroom with bathtub, jacuzzi, shower. YOU place for your clothes with hanging rack and hangers. Plus a whole mirrored shelf in the bathroom so that you can unpack properly and enjoy your holiday! If you plan to cook: we provide cooktop/portable hob, kitchen work space, refrigerator, sink, microwave, dishes, cutlery, pots, coffee maker and water boiler. We have also provided use of our own stove if this will be helpful for your stay. Let us know at booking and we can make plans to accommodate you. The portable cooktop is a new addition and it's great for this smaller kitchen. It’s easy for you to move around and or stowed away under sink when not in use to give more counter space. Recently, some guests have said that it's been a bit cool in the apartment so we can provide you with an addition heater. This may happen as the heating system adjusts-October or April. Important info about Malmö public transportation ( buses and trains): They do NOT accept cash. Like a lot of European cities, you must have a special card that you add money to- it's called Jo Jo card in Malmö. You can buy these at kiosks, train stations or online. We have been hearing from past guests that the Internet is a bit slow so we have installed fiber cable and changed Internet carriers so this should make things go smoother. However, in older buildings made of concrete like this space, it is possible that there are 'sweet spots' in the studio with regards to the reception. 1. Please park cars on the main street of Östra Bernadottesgatan. If you are driving, then you can park the car in front of the house in the main big, wide street- Östra Bernadottesgatan. It is safe and we have also parked there many times. 2. You must park in the direction of traffic minimum 10 meters away from the intersection and move the car a foot or so every 24 hours. 3. You may NOT park on the small street Falkgatan as it is for owners and residence only. 4. We have been hearing that the Internet is a bit slow so we have installed fiber cable and changed Internet carriers so this should make things go smoother. To fill the jacuzzi it is best to fill the jacuzzi with ONLY the hot water because it uses a whole tank of hot water for the whole house. Adding cold water when filling up doesn't work that well. Typically, we email together with our guests a few days before their arrival to make a plan for meeting. Sometimes, we are staying at our apartment downstairs and can help in the blink of an eye but other times, we are traveling. We usually have a local contact person when we are away to help. And, we am to respond within the day to emails while guests are staying with us. We are happy to help whenever we can. We provide all the towels and linens for your stay. It is customary in Scandinavia that you prepare your own bed (you make your own bed) with those linens. Guests from outside of Europe may be surprised by this custom. 4.
