However, here are some tips and reminders for your stay. The bell tent is 6 m in diameter. You must provide all camping mats, bedding, pillows, sleeping bags etc. The nearest village is 1 mile away, so please bring all food and drink with you. There should be a mobile signal in the field. There is a tap by the field, but you may wish to bring your own drinking water. You may walk to the top of the hill and into the next field, through the gate and turn right down the footpath, which will bring you back to the farmyard. Absolutely no cars to be driven further than the campsite or up the hills, one hill is extremely steep. You may drive a maximum of 3 cars to the camping field, any more must be parked in the farmyard. Please close all gates behind you, occasionally sheep will be in the fields you have to drive through. Please be environmentally friendly and make a modest campfire. Be careful with the campfire and use the water provided. You must bring your own WC with you, or hire ours, 20 litre capacity! (£45 per stay, which includes 1 empty !) as we do not allow anyone to do any business in the fields, woods or bushes. Please be especially careful to remove all tent pegs from the field after camping, as it can ruin farm machinery or cause problems for the sheep or other farm animals. Please remove all rubbish from the field. You may leave your rubbish in the various bins in the farmyard. Please separate household rubbish, recyclable rubbish and leftover food into separate wheelie bins. On your last day please let us know when you are due to leave the field, as we need to check it with you, before you leave. NB please No crazy school leavers No crazy football fans No smoking inside the bell tent No muddy shoes inside the bell tent. No burning of plastic, glass or metal in the campfire All at your own risk ! We wish you a great stay You are allowed to drive to the field, but only as far as the campfire but may NOT drive up the hill near the camp field under any circumstances. You will be staying in the middle of a field, at the bottom of a hill which you can climb for stunning views. The nearest neighbours may be some sheep in the next field! Stargaze at night from the top of the hill. Wake to the morning chorus, watch wildlife - deer, fox, rabbits, badgers, red kites. Pick blackberries and chestnuts at certain times of the year ! Ali's beautiful field is the perfect location for a physically distanced, private camping trip. Perfect for anyone who doesn't think the normal campsite experience is for them. We celebrated a small 35th birthday bringing our own tents but making use of the large Bell Tent made available for our stay. Ali made everything very straightforward, showing us the amenities and providing (for a small fee) a portaloo in a discrete tent as well as logs for the fire. We had a lovely time bbq-ing on the griddle over the fire pit and generally being out among the greenery. Do recommend bringing a canopy or two just in case! The heavens opened up on us a few times so we were glad we'd brought extra shelter! That said, the roll of the hill kept us mostly sheltered from the wind and the general surroundings, peaceful atmosphere and bleating herd of sheep in the next field left us feeling serene, able to enjoy the pitter-patter, much-missed company, fireside games and a few light ales. Thanks once again to Ali. We know where you are now! Seahorse Inn - Shalford You may drive up to 3 cars to the field, other cars should be parked in the farmyard. We are 1 mile from Bramley village, about 20 minutes to walk, where you can catch a bus into Guildford or train up to London. Both Gatwick and Heathrow airports are about 40 minutes / 1 hour away. Please message me if you would like to bring more than 10 guests, this may be possible.
