Hertford, Folly Island, Bijou Cabin + Ensuite

My purpose built cabin, described by many as "just like a cosy hotel room" has independent access so visitors are free to come and go. We are located at "Folly Island" a quiet Hertford enclave within a short walking distance to town and railway stations. Supermarkets are a stones throw away. Folly Island is a quiet spot a couple of minutes from the town centre which offers a plethora of pubs, restaurants, coffee shops etc and a market every Saturday. The cabin is accessible via our back gate giving total freedom to come and go as you please. Guests also have use of the garden area which offers a secluded sitting area outside the cabin shaded by a well established grapevine. We (Elly and Greg) will always try and assist with your plans and help with any local information...we like to think we are a very approachable couple and we generally love meeting people Folly Island is a quiet, respectable residential enclave literally two minutes walk from Hertford town centre. It lies upon the River Lea towpath providing picturesque walks along the river and surrounding countryside. Other facilities immediately on our doorstep include a leisure centre (gym/swimming pool), supermarkets, park, and many restaurants and pubs. We are walking distance to two stations. The nearest is Hertford East which is within 5 minutes on foot. We are within walking distance of both Hertford Stations. Although there are residential parking restrictions we are blessed with a public car park less than 50 yards from our door which is free evenings and Sundays and very reasonably priced at other times. Although street parking is restricted, we are blessed with a public car park literally 50 yards from our house. There is a minimal charge for daytime parking except for Sundays (evening are free).
