The Beehive

Situated in the private courtyard of Croxdale Hall, less than four miles south of the City of Durham, the self-contained Beehive provides a peaceful bolt hole. The inviting open plan room has a double brass bed at one end, a 'kitchen' the other and an en-suite bathroom (with a five foot bath) off it. The south-facing window looks out over the Beehive lawn and the park beyond. The 'kitchen' has no cooking facilities but does have a fridge, kettle and toaster. Cereal, Bread, Yoghurt, Fruit, Orange juice, Tea, Coffee and Milk will be left out for you. The estate is well served by lots of footpaths for those wanting to walk. Please be aware there is no access to the private garden you look out onto. Parking is available within the courtyard but if you were travelling by train, we are a ten minute taxi ride from Durham railway station.
