Stunning 1 bedroom semi detached cottage in Cobham town. Beautifully decorated throughout and finished to a high standard. Modern facilities in place for a comfortable and practical stay. Off street parking for two cars behind the well maintained cottage garden. The South facing garden has stylish garden furniture for guests to use with an all weather surface and a hot tub. Bright and spacious open plan diner and living room which flows into the very modern kitchen and downstairs WC. The reception rooms are decorated and finished to a high standard with comfortable designer furniture, flat screen smart TV mounted on the wall next to a sleek stone fire place. Large sliding doors leading from the kitchen/breakfast bar to the South facing well presented garden with garden furniture for guests to use. A stone path leads from the rear of the hose, through the garden to the off street parking at the back of the property. Master bedroom upstairs with luxurious King size bed, flat screen TV mounted on the wall, high quality furniture, bed linen, towels, throws and cushions. Large 3 piece shower room also located upstairs with a large glass walk in shower with great water pressure. Please note that the second bedroom will be locked and not accessible to guests. Host will personally welcome guests on their arrival and show them around the house, helping with any questions about the property and area. The check in time is between 3-6 pm but the host can be reasonably flexible. If guests are unable to make this time. A key can be left for self check in or other arrangements can be made with the host prior to arrival. Host is available via mobile or email 24/7 for help and advice but appreciates privacy and wants guests to enjoy their time during their stay and will not be disturbed. The cottage is on the edge of The Surrey Hills (AONB) an area of outstanding natural beauty. The area is surrounded by National Trust properties, the RHS Wisley gardens are about 3 miles away, Painshill Park a private area of outstanding views and pleasant walks is even closer with adequate parking, entrance fee payable. Hampton Court Palace is about 6 miles away together with boat excursions on the river Thames. You will be spoiled for choice giving every reason to return at whatever time of year to renew your experiences or make new ones. The area is great for hikers having numerous walks on and around the North Downs with way marked trails. Assuming you’ll be arriving by car Cobham is just two miles from junction 10 of the M25 and is convenient to find just off the road from Cobham to Esher. If you come by train there is a station for Cobham in Stoke D’Abernon just under 2 miles away with access to taxis at the station. There are also various bus routes locally. The area is reasonably level so cycling is not strenuous and easy for a beginner. For those looking for pitting themselves against the 2012 Olympic riders, the original course surrounds the district and you could try nine laps of the roads around Box Hill for starters. This is also an area for those wishing to find a strenuous walk. Approach from The Stepping Stones car park and climb the steps, a refreshing drink at the top (NT check opening times) and then return via the sloping grass hillside enjoying the panoramic views. The Stepping Stones pub is passed on your return to the car park if you fancy a traditional pub lunch. Please note that this is a 2 bedroom cottage but only being advertised as a 1 bedroom as the second bedroom will be locked and not accessible to guests.
