Stone Cottage is a beautifully restored, mid terraced, Grade II Listed Cottage, built in 1830. Nestled in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Stone Cottage is the place to stay to enjoy long country walks or curl up by the woodburning stove with a good book. The cottage is situated on the Viking Way, allowing you to enjoy bike rides and walks straight from the property. A great holiday destination to get away from it all. The Cottage has been sympathetically restored retaining and enhancing original period features whilst providing amenities you would expect for modern living. We provide our guests with a Welcome Pack which includes: White Company Flowers Soap Slippers Tassimo Coffee Maker Pods Tea, Coffee and Sugar Lincolnshire Plum Loaf Semi Skimmed Milk To welcome you on arrival. Stone Cottage is completely private and you will have access to the whole property. There is a lockbox to enable you to check yourselves in. I am delighted to meet guests, if they wish to, and I am always contactable by telephone should anything be needed during the stay. Walesby is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is extremely peaceful. It is perfect for getting away from it all and there are lovely walks locally, straight from the door, over to Tealby, Claxby and Osgodby. We are situated on the famous Viking Way with the beautiful Ramblers Church built in 1172. We also provide double locked storage for bikes enabling you to explore the area further. Please request the bike storage when you book. The train station at Market Rasen is 3 miles from the property. Two parking spaces are provided with the property and additional parking is either on the road side or village hall. The roads locally are quiet and perfect for exploring by bike. (Secure locked storage provided at the cottage). Please note the fridge is a 600mm wide under counter fridge with small freezer box at the top.
