Travel cot available Depending on time of year and availability, honey and apple juice (produced from my garden) offered to guests. Table + 4 chairs for guests’ use on patio outside annexe. We are usually available in the main house, should you need to call on us. Abbots Langley village is an historic Hertfordshire village, it is full of places to eat, several pubs, 4 churches, easy access to country walks, and is noted to be the birthplace of the only English Pope - Nicholas Breakspear, who became Adrian IV. Jane Austen said to have used Hertfordshire stately homes as models for places in her novels, esp Pride & Prejudice. Cricket on the green, Roman remains and ghosts in the village! Great places to eat, from fine dining at The Grove Hotel, great local restaurants, pub lunches, to amazing take-aways. Plenty to do and see in the area if you have time on your hands, especially the fantastic Harry Potter Studios close by. We are about 30ms from Heathrow Airport and Luton Airport, 5 minutes drive from the M25, 15 minutes drive from the M1 and 15 minutes walk to Kings Langley Station (35 minutes into London Euston). We are also 5 minutes' drive from the Harry Potter Studios, 40 minute’ walk - or 2 minutes by broomstick! We are in a quiet residential area.
