This is a very spacious airy three bedroomed apartment , with a sunny roof terrace. It has been lovingly refurbished to the highest standard and has everything you need to have an amazing holiday . Peebles is a beautiful busy little town in the lovely Scottish Borders and there is a wealth of things to do and see. The apartment is quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently located behind the High Street and a short walk away from the River Tweed . You access the flat by a metal staircase onto the roof terrace , which is a perfect place to catch the sunshine. The flat is cosy and welcoming to make you feel pampered during your stay .There is a cosy lounge and a large convivial and well equipped kitchen and dining room where you can have sociable gatherings around the table as someone cooks , or you can order a variety of takeaway food in the vicinity . You are on holiday after all ! There are three lovely double bedrooms, one having an en suite shower room and a further family bathroom with a bath and thermostatic shower. There is free parking on the main street or on the road beside the river. There are also big car parks either across from the river or beside Sainsburys. This car park is free apart from Saturdays. You may drive up the School Brae from the riverside in order to drop off luggage but there are parking restrictions too. There is a lockbox for your own convenience at checking in and your hosts Neil and Karen are close by should you need any assistance . Neil can offer advice about fishing, both on the Tweed or at a local fishery . The Hideaway is quietly tucked away behind the High Street , and just a short walk from the River Tweed, with lovely walks. The High Street is full of interesting independent shops and a variety of eateries , from cafes to bistros, including takeaways . Peebles has a swimming pool and a sports centre .There are historic attractions throughout the Borders, such as Traquair House and Abbotsford. If you want to explore further afield, there is a regular bus service to other Border towns , such as Innerleithen and Melrose . Edinburgh is about an hour away by car or bus , or you can travel in on the train from Galashiels. There are wonderful biking trails through the forests or walks to suit everyone.
