Nestled amongst olive groves and mountains and on the edge of a real Greek village, yet only minutes drive from stunning beaches. This beautiful villa has a pool and large roof terrace for all day secluded sunbathing. Ian and Abby have taken great care to make this a home from home so that you will be able to relax the minute you walk through the door. Everything has been thought of, from the well equipped kitchen to soft fluffy towels and high end bedding. You have full and private access to a garden with many areas for dining, sitting and reading in dappled shade under the grape vines, or sunbathing on the private large terrace off the upstairs bedrooms or in the gardens by the good-sized private pool and BBQ. And you’re not overlooked :-) We have Yiannie on hand to help you get access and give help and advice where needed as he lives in the next village but myself and Ian are always available via the messaging service. Although you're nestled amongst olive groves and on the edge of an authentic Greek village with rolling hills and gorgeous mountain views, you're literally 5 minutes drive from Panormos; a quaint beach resort with cobbled streets and great restaurants; Bali is 12 minutes away with its beautiful sandy beaches. 20 minutes drive is the historic seaside town of Rethymnon with its narrow cobbled streets, castle, Venetian harbour, chic restaurants and bars and great shopping. You can walk to the village beach and there’s an excellent traditional taverna at the end of the road but we do recommend that you hire a car for your stay if you want to get the best out of your stay in Crete. The villa is perfectly situated centrally between Crete’s 2 airports; 1:15 from Chania and 50 mins from Heraklion giving you choices of flights from both airports. We look forward to welcoming you soon! We recommend a car to get around to make the most of your holiday- there's car parking for 3 cars and access from the main coast road is literally up the road. Driving is very easy in Crete with a main road running from the two airports along the coast to the villa. There's so much to explore on Crete for the more adventurous but for those who just want to stay and enjoy the villa there's plenty to do nearby too. The place can accommodate 6 adults and one or two small children on the sofa bed
