Cool urban loft with exposed brick & duct work. Walking distance to Corktown (restaurants, bars, shopping...). Close to expressways & bus stops. Huge private second story deck with table & chairs. Comes with 2 bikes & free off street parking. The kitchen does not have an oven, but it does have a cook-top, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, filtered water, wine & martini glasses, it's fully stocked. I use green cleaning products & laundry soap. NO parties NO guests The loft is on the second floor with a private outside entrance. The bedroom is separated by a heavy curtain from the main living area. Living area is an open floor plan, kitchen, living room & dining room. Glass & tile shower. The loft is 100% yours & you have private rooftop deck. We live next door in what was a bank, we've converted it into our home. During the warmer months you're sure to see us on the patio. Perhaps we can share a little wine. We are in an emerging neighborhood in SW Detroit, only a half mile from Corktown. I walk & ride my bike all the time in the area. We have lived here for over 2 years, it is a safe area surround more by businesses than homes. There are also a fare amount of empty buildings in the area which makes the area look worse than it is. We are on a busy street but it's surprising quiet. There is private parking behind the Airbnb, we suggest that you don't park on Michigan Ave. My husband & I bought the old bank on the corner, the bar & what is now the Airbnb above the bar in 2013, we converted the bank into our home. The bar is NOT open. We are on a major bus line and about a mile from the transit station. Detroit is know for cars not mass transit, however that is slowly changing. Parking is not an issue & there are 2 bikes with the Airbnb. Lyft & Uber too. MoGo bikes are available throughout the city No parties or friends, only the registered guests are allowed on the property.
