Located at Fernthorpe Hall set in beautiful private grounds, in the heart of Uppermill, this luxury studio is just five minutes walk from the galleries, shops and cafe bars of this quaint, culturally active village. Whether business or pleasure we hope you have an enjoyable stay with us Please note the attic flat is on the 2nd floor and is therefore accessed by two flights of stairs. There are also steps down to the entrance from the car park area. The flat is served by a separate drive at the back of the house but guests are welcome to walk down the main drive to the village We are available on site most of the time for local information and tips Uppermill is a picturesque village on the edge Saddleworth Moor, right by the Pennine Way so great for walkers. There are also many popular events on in the Village - Whit Friday Band Contest, Yanks Weekend in August, Rush Cart Festival, Cotton Clouds Festival. The village has many restaurants, pubs and coffee shops as well as a village store, Post Office Deli and many independent shops and there is always a welcoming atmosphere It is only a 20 minute walk to Greenfield station where trains run to both Manchester and Huddersfield and Leeds, or a 5 minute drive with plenty of parking. Buses also serve the area including Oldham and Ashton Under Lyne.
