Cosy modern hi-spec family home in the High Peak

Our house is located in the beautiful village of Chapel-en-le-Frith and has been recently renovated to a high standard with modern fixtures and fittings. You can enjoy the whole house to yourself, so it will feel like a home away from home. Special features include a log burner to keep you toasty and warm, a spacious driveway with parking for up to four cars and a spacious and modern kitchen diner. Please be aware that exterior work is ongoing but will not take place during occupation. Forgotten your charging socket? Not a problem as there are USB ports in every room in the house bar the bathroom, you even have 2 in each of the bedside lamps in the main front bedroom. We will give you access to the key safe so that you can easily let yourself in and although we are not available in person you can contact us any time for help and our Home Manager can be at hand locally if you need her. Chapel-en-le-Frith is within easy Travelling distance to a number of attractions including the spa town of Buxton, Pooles Cavern, Chatsworth House and Alton Towers! The High Peak is also a walkers mecca and you will be well placed to access all of these from Castleton, home of several Blue John mines, The Roaches including the famous Winking Man just across the Staffordshire border, Derbyshire Dales including Monsal Dale (one of our favourite walks), Three Shires, again in Staffs where Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire meet by a natural spring pool as well as the extensive moorlands out towards South Yorkshire to name but a few. Easy walking distance to local bus routes and the train station for routes to nearby cities of Stockport and Manchester Currently there are ongoing works to the front and rear gardens. Unfortunately we are not able to complete this work at the current time and the gardens are a little wild as we had to stop work during covid. As such these areas are not currently useable but we hope this does not detract from your stay, we are surrounded by beautiful countryside. We don't like to decline requests to stay and we sometimes get requests to book from guests who are new to Airbnb and do not have any positive profile reviews as yet. Please note that such requests will be declined and we encourage you to consider this before sending an enquiry as we do not wish to cause offense but have had poor experiences in the past.
