Nestled at the end of a private lane, in the heart of the Mayenne countryside, you will find this peaceful, private little cottage. From the garden you can look down at the stunning water meadow beyond and enjoy the wildlife it attracts, and beyond the patio lies unspoilt farmland where you may be lucky enough to see deer resting in the evening sun. The interior has been professionally designed and built to make the most of the space and create a soothing place to be. Please note no internet. This cottage is ideal for those seeking a true 'rest'. Without internet or mobile network, and adjacent to a natural spring and the sound of gently trickling fresh water, it relaxes you as soon as you arrive. With private patio and garden and its own parking and entrance. From the garden you may see the horses grazing in the field beside you. There is an abundance of wildlife - birds, insects, bees and butterflies in this haven of nature. There is private parking for one car at the cottage. There is no public transport in the area so visitors need a car or a bike. The cottage is at the far end of my property and you may see me in passing, however your space is private. Of course I am always available for help or advice should you need it. Rural Mayenne is mostly an agricultural area, so the pace is gentle and kind. There are some quaint little towns and villages which epitomise French living with their open markets, simple cafes and restaurants. There is stunning scenery to walk or cycle in, in the nearby forests or les Alpes Mancelles. There is no public transport so you need a car. The nearest boulangerie is 1.5 km away and the nearest village with shops is 5km away. The ceiling beams in the bedroom are quite low so tall people will need to take care.
