Stylish cottage in tranquil woodland setting

Our property has a large and lovely light bedroom with king size double bed, with garden views. It is situated in a woodland setting.There is a comfortable sitting/dining area and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The area is full of classic English pubs, many of them gastro, which will ensure that you don’t go hungry. The cottage is situated in the beautiful rural setting of the Surrey Hills in the quintessentially English village of Dunsfold, 5 miles from Godalming and 10 miles from Guildford. It is a 10 minute stroll past the cricket pitch to the well stocked village shop and local pub.The village Church dates back to the 13th century and is reputed to have the oldest pews in England. The cottage is situated in our private garden with beautiful views, but the area outside the property’s front door with outdoor dining is allocated for our guests. We are happy to greet our guests and help in any way. We love living here as it is so peaceful …except for the birdsong! The views are lovely and it has a tranquil relaxing atmosphere, even though we are not far from the coast and London. It is best to have a car to get here although there is a bus stop in walking distance. A taxie from Godalming is easy to organise. Ideal for biking and walking. The area is ideal for walkers with countless beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside. It is also ideal for cyclists both on and off road. We do have safe overnight bike storage. There are maps and books on local walks and ordinance survey maps to look at in the cottage.
